Association des Amis de la Duchesse Anne

Ce site, réalisé par Jean Louis Molle, relate l'histoire du trois mâts carré Duchesse Anne ex voilier école allemand Grossherzogin Elisabeth construit en 1901.
Sauvé et restauré par les Dunkerquois, ce trois mâts de 90 mètres est le plus grand voilier conservé en France.
Amarré dans le Port de Dunkerque depuis 1981, il est maintenant ouvert au public.

Association of the Friends of the Duchess Anne

This site, built by Jean Louis Molle, tells you the history of the 3-master Duchesse Anne, formerly a German training-ship called Grossherzogin Elisabeth, built in 1901.
She was saved from scrap by the City of Dunkirk in 1981.
With an overall length of 90 m, she is the biggest tall ship preserved in France.
She is moored in the Dock of Commerce, next to the Musée portuaire, and can
be visited.
